11/26 - Mass Media

by blair.andress on November 26th, 2007

Today we began to read C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. As I shared with you in class today, we will have MANY graded activities over the next several weeks. Please make sure you have the questions (both sets) on chapter 1 for tomorrow.

11/26 - 3rd & 4th

by blair.andress on November 26th, 2007

You guys did a great job today with the workbook pages on usage. Third block was able to finish in class, but we spent more time going over the material in fourth block. Third block worked first, and we discussed the material as we went over the workbook pages. Fourth block got the info first, and then began to work. Most of you in fourth block probably had time to finish the work in class, but if you didn’t, make sure you have pages 199 - 212 in the workbooks completed tomorrow when you come to class.

See you tomorrow!

Potential Posters?

by blair.andress on November 8th, 2007

If you read below, you can read a post from one of your own. That’s right, Dallas was promoted from being just a subscriber to being an author here at school.deeperwater.com. He brought up a topic in class that I thought would be a neat addition to the blog. I asked if he was willing to post about the “Poe Toaster,” and he said he would do it.

So, are you interested in posting privileges here? I don’t mind granting them to any or all of you, but there need to be some ground rules, I think. Obviously, this doesn’t need to be used in the same way as a MySpace blog. This is a class blog, so we need to establish some guidelines.

What about it? Are you interested? If you are, what kind of guidelines do we need to establish? Comment away and let me know.

So, What Are You Supposed to Do?

Bethany wants to know what you are supposed to do next on here.

At this point, registering and leaving a comment of some sort is all that is required. I am basically trying to see who would at least have the capability to use this site if I invested time and energy into it.

Last year, I updated it daily with assignments and what not. I am game to do it again, but I have to know that there is interest.

Does that make sense?
