indescriminate - Not making or based on careful distinctions; unselective
emulate - To strive to equal or excel, especially through imitation
Does that help?

Dork - someone who places dictionary quotes in a blog in an attempt to validate a pithy but overly academic insult.
Some people think Flig resembles Wagnall (especially around the eyes), but I think the goatee makes him look more like Funk.

And yet said insult was an example of self-deprecating humor. (Not to be confused with self-defectating humor… cause that is just sad.)
FYI - The Funk & Wagnall’s reference was just as esoteric… today, we just all use Wikipedia.
